Homemade Salmon Sushi
I sometimes cook salmon sushi at home.
Here's the recipe for that.
I really like salmon sushi, so I went around a famous sushi restaurants near my house.
Such as Bupyeong Station, Bucheon districts and Gulpocheon Station etc.
My favorite place for salmon sushi is  Sushi Story, which is near Gulpocheon Station.Whenever I really want it, I usually stop by there and have it. However, I have to make a reservation in advance before visiting there. The store is quite narrow and  so sometimes I feel  uncomfortable with that. I decided to make salmon  sushi at home by myself , also  the current situation, Covid 19 also forced me to do that. If salmon is fresh and good condition, you can  make it into sushi and you can enjoy it for half the price.^^


I prepared salmon sushi for the last time of this spring before the weather gets too hot. I bought raw salmon none air packed today, but I like to buy fresh salmon for sashimi better when it's clear in color, moderately chubby in fat, and thick enough.
I like to cut the meat thicker and bigger, so I cut it more than 1cm thick.


I cooked black rice for two people. The instant precooked rice is my type. LOL
Add a tablespoon of vinegar and
add a small spoonful of sugar and salt, and do not mash the grains of rice.
Mix gently and thoroughly and let it cool.


Put a little cooking oil on your gloves only for the first time and grab one bite size of  the rice at a time. So that it can be combined right exactly the same of the pressure of kimbop.
Now place on a plate and put the fish meat on the top of the rice.
I recommend eating raw wasabi according to your preference. So I didn't put wasabi inside sushi. ^^

I put raw wasabi and pickled ginger and paprika on top, because I don't have any decorations. Does salmon look delicious?



I think soy sauce is really important part of sushi.
I recommend a delicious sushi soy sauce. It's quite sticky and sweet. It's my favorite item. Chien Sashimi shoyu


That's enough! You can eat this delicious salmon sushi for only about 10,000 won for two servings.
